I have a soft spot in my heart for Tommy James & the Shondells. They are one of the first bands when I was a little child that made me love rock 'n roll. There is a picture of me, about 4-5 years old, with the Roulette single "Hanky Panky" spinning it on my fingers. I used to put my fingers together and put 45 singles on my hand and spin them!!! I am going to look for that picture and post it! Trivia: Tommy James made a miscalculation, and turned down an offer to play at Woodstock!
This is what Rock 'n Roll is all about: simple, happy, innocent, danceable, and it gets you MOVING!!! Thanks to the internet, I can see after 45 years, the original Roulette single "Hanky Panky" spinning on a record player much like the one I had. MAYBE IT'S THE SAME ONE:
