Big Dan's Big News July 16, 2010

Profits before Patients, at the General Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. - Hitler would be PROUD of the RED STICKERS!!!

Above: Nurses picket the General Hospital's new policy of color-coding patient's charts and carting the sick patients to the billing office instead of allowing them to leave. Hitler would be proud! Hospital spokesman Adolph Hitler...OOPS!!!...I mean James P. McGuire, said it's "union rhetoric". "Patients with red stickers are unable to leave until they can be pressured to turn over money or a credit card", it says in the article. I have a suggestion for James P. McGuire: how about handcuffing the patients with red stickers and carting them right into a jail cell!!! Hitler would be proud! Scratch that: Hitler actually took care of the Germans. Well, not the Jews, though...he put red stickers...I mean he used the Star of David to identify the Jews. Every American should be able to get health CARE when they need it. There should be no such thing as health INSURANCE. There should be no businessmen like James P. McGuire involved between patients and caregivers. We should have single payer health care. The United States is the only country in the world except for a few 3rd world countries that doesn't provide health CARE to all their citizens. Israel covers all of it's citizens with universal health care. It's a BIG BLACK MARK on what is supposed to be the greatest country in the history of the world. It's shameful. It's unethical. It's not what Jesus would do. I have a question about the businessmen and women running hospitals, gas drilling companies, oil rigs, and things like that: when exactly are you told to leave your ethics at the door and when were you told to put profits before patients and safety???

Hey, James P. McGuire: this woman was misdiagnosed at your hospital and she's suing you...DID YOU PUT A RED STICKER ON HER??? Or is it "cancer rhetoric"? I think she's going to put a big red sticker on YOU!!!

Attorneys for a Franklin Township woman with terminal cancer have filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and several area doctors, claiming a curable kidney cancer was allowed to spread because doctors tested the wrong kidney for cancer several times.
